A lot cheaper than London.
Cambridgeshire is only a little bit more expensive than the England average if you rule out Cambridge itself, which is a bit high.
Norfolk is more rural, and in most areas is a little cheaper than Cambridgeshire.
Neither has a poor reputation for public order and crime and I can think of many, many worse areas to be in.
They are both excellent choices and I wish I was in a position to move to either (I’m in the industrial North).
